Camp Verde student Jordan Fullmer advances to state competition in Elks Hoop Shoot

he Elks Hoop Shoot Contest originated back in Corvallis, Oregon in 1946 by Frank Hise, a Past Grand Exalted Ruler of the fraternal organization. In 1958, the Elks' Oregon State Association took it to the state level. In 2015 nearly three millions kids ages 8 through 13 competed in the nationwide competition.
