Nine-year-old Camp Verde resident Tori Black took second place at the Elks Hoop Shoot on February 6 in Apache Junction. After winning the local competition at Camp Verde Elementary School, Tori traveled to states and then to Apache Junction for the district competition. Camp Verde's Tori Black makes 15 free throws at Elks Hoop Shootout

CAMP VERDE - After four months of practicing with her twin brother Tristan and her mother Shay, 9-year-old Tori Black traveled to the Apache Junction Elks Hoop Shootout on Feb. 6 to see what she was made of.
