The McCracken Character Area primarily consists of low-density residential. A significant portion of the 260 East Character Area (inset) is comprised of U.S. Forest Service-owned land. The Camp Verde Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss character areas at the next general plan work session, Thursday at 6 p.m.

MORE CHARACTER: Clear Creek, McCracken and 260 East up for P&Z discussion

One character area is primarily medium-density residential. Another is low-density residential. A third is a combination of commercial use and undeveloped land, with a significant percentage of U.S. Forest Service-owned land.
