Gallery: 2014 CVMO Active Shooter Training

With Camp Verde Unified School District's students on spring break, the Camp Verde Marshal's Office sponsored a multi-agency active shooter training session at Camp Verde High School on March 12. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Yavapai-Apache Police Department, Cottonwood Police Department, Camp Verde Fire Department, Clarkdale Police Department and Jerome Police Department joined CVMO in the training. The objective of the active shooter training, says CVMO Commander Bruce Girnt, is "identifying the threat, eliminating the threat, securing the scene and helping the injured."
