Gallery: Beaver Creek Kiwanis Chili Dinner

The Beaver Creek Kiwanis held a well-attended Chili & Pie Dinner on Friday evening, February 21, at the Montezuma-Rimrock Fire Station. Kiwanis members and firefighters prepared chili, including Fire Chief Terry Keller, for the donation only dinner. Up to four dinners are held each year by the Kiwanis to help specific causes; a spaghetti dinner earlier this year allowed the fire station to replace 20-year-old mattresses with new ones. Funds raised on Friday night are targeted to benefit safety issues in the community, specifically to make payments on the fire station's newly acquired, but used, brush truck. The dinners typically raise between $900 and $1500 dollars.
