Camp Verde girls beats Horizon Honors

Camp Verde High School girls basketball is off to its usual good start. The Cowboys are 7-1. The only loss was by 4 to Estrella Foothills who made last year's final four.Friday, the Cowboys beat Horizon Honors (Phoenix) 53-26. The team's leading scorer in the game was senior guard Rayana Chatter with 17. Senior guard Kayla Sandoval led the team in assists with five. Senior forward Mariah Daniels had a team-high 11 rebounds. Daniels had a double-double. She also had 13 points.
