White Hills Gallery, Camp Verde, held an opening reception for its newest exhibit, "Simply Black and White," on Friday, March 22. The show is comprised of artists using only black, white, and shades of gray to create their work - even the framing must adhere to the limited palate. The exhibit showcases paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings and photographs of still life, portraits, landscapes, animals and more by local and national artists. The variety and quality of work, from realistic to abstract, is a creative tour de force not to be missed. The gallery is located at 348 S. Main Street, in downtown Camp Verde next to The Horn Saloon and is open Thursday, Monday and Sunday from 11am-5pm and on Friday and Saturday from 11am-8pm. The exhibit runs through May 13th.
