Crews getting a grip on Doce Fire

The incident management team will host a community meeting at Prescott High School Auditorium "Ruth Street Theater" today. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.There are 781 firefighters remaining on the Doce Fire, burning 7 miles northwest of Prescott in the Granite Mountain Wilderness. Investigators now have identified the origin of the fire as a location where weapons had been fired. The blaze has now cost a $3.4 million to control.
