Council votes to let Sanitary District spend WIFA funds

Council also rejects chamber request for $12,000

Despite concerns from both Camp Verde Town Council and the Town's Sewer District customers, the council accepted the Sanitary District's request to utilize Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) funds for improvements at the district's wastewater treatment facility.At the council's Dec. 18 regular session, the council voted 5-1 to move forward with improvements required under the Aquifer Protection Permit.
