Under Arizona law the Wingfield Building (in background) on Camp Verde’s Main Street could never house a microbrewery or wine tasting room because it is too close to a church, Calvary Chapel. However, the Town is considering taking advantage of a law that would allow it to designate the downtown corridor as an entertainment district, and permit such venues with council approval.
