The results of an exhaustive three-year survey of the 100-year flood along the Verde and its tributaries is being released this week to the public at two meetings, one on Wednesday in Clarkdale and one on Thursday in Camp Verde.

County's new floodplain maps going out to public

After three years fine-tuning 73 miles of floodplain maps, covering the Verde River and 26 of its perennial and intermittent tributaries, the Yavapai County Flood Control District (YCFCD) has released its exhaustive survey of which properties are, and are not, in danger of flooding.
