Every month students at American Heritage Academy in Camp Verde have the opportunity to trade box tops for toys, school supplies and snacks. . According to the Box Tops For Education website, the program raised $59 million for schools last year. Hundreds of products, from Kleenex and Brita filters to Hefty trash bags and Green Giant green beans, have the small red Box Tops for Education emblem.

Local schools still make cents with BoxTops program

Folks who say Arizona education is not worth a dime anymore have not been sending in their boxtops.
