Earlier this year I spoke to you about ticks and how we dread seeing these creatures each year.
We have seen dogs come in recently that are covered with ticks and fleas. Even the products we purchase from Pharmaceuticals haven't taken care of the problem totally.

Last week I heard an alarming rumor from one of my coworkers. I was told that Yavapai County didn't renew their contract with the Verde Valley Humane Society.
Right away I was asked if it angered me and the board of directors. Angered? The word shocked better described our feelings.

Back in 1989 I had the pleasure of visiting Phoenix for the first time while driving my mother and her friend to Las Vegas.
As we hit the big city all of a sudden the sky opened and a torrential downpour began. It happened so fast that the water was backing up in the streets and soon traffic was at a standstill.
