The Pew 2007 survey of Muslim-Americans, a phone sampling of 1,050 (out of an estimated 2.35 million), is 38 months old; by now, no recognizable image persists. Beating up on a group that makes up less than 1 percent of the U.S. population is acting the bully.

During last week's discussion on raising city water rates by 8 percent, Rudy Rodriguez hinted that the city may need to go on the public relations offensive so people understand why the rate hike is necessary and important.

Cottonwood is in a quandary over government growth and expansion.
It all began with the construction of the new Cottonwood Recreation Center. The need for a new Parks and Recreation facility was obvious; the antiquated old church building that housed Cottonwood Parks and Rec was horribly inadequate.
