After going to football camp in California, the Cowboys look ahead to the new season. School starts on Monday and the season starts at the end of the month. National Champ:Cottonwood's Josh Reilly wins 13-15 USA Triathlon Youth & Junior National Championship
There are some athletes who can just do it all. Thirteen-year-old Josh Reilly may be one of those.

Josh is a triathlon athlete in running, swimming and cycling. Micah Swenson, head coach of the Aftershock Distance club, said Josh has shown great improvement as a runner.

Dr. Brad Williams wins Bike The Bluff Arizona Championship Road Race
When Verde Valley orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brad Williams finished 10th a year ago in Show Low's annual Bike The Bluff Arizona State Championship Road Race, he knew he could do better.

He was right.

A year later, the Cornville cyclist is the new Category 5 Arizona State Champion.

Hole In One
Pine Shadows Golf Course Pro Shop Manager Julie Tykwinski reports that Austin Garcia of Camp Verde recorded his first Hole in One on July 2 while golfing in the annual Contreras family reunion. He aced the 155 yd. fourth hole using a 8 iron. Proud witnesses included his dad, grandpa, and uncle.

Once again Weekend Wars attendance records were huge. We had four out of state teams; Bayfield, Colorado, Aztec, New Mexico, Delores, Colorado and Koogler, New Mexico come up and enhance the day's activities. They brought different styles with them, which help Arizona wrestlers learn and grow.
