Eleanor Louise Vancil
On May 18, 1922, in St. Louis, Missouri, Eleanor Louise Vancil became a blessing to others.
She was a devoted wife to Paul Vancil (deceased), a mother to five; Sandra (deceased) (Chuck) Gamblin, Dennis Vancil, Diane (Bob) Brown, Merry (Joe) Mongini, and John (Claudia) Vancil, as well as a loving grandmother to many.
Eleanor also blessed many Native Americans with her 15-plus years of missionary work.
Presiding as President of the Verde Valley Homemakers allowed Eleanor the opportunity to teach others knitting, crocheting and other traditions across the United States. She shared her love of nature and gardening with others through the Camp Verde Garden Club.
While we are saddened by her passing, on December 5, 2012, we are joyful of the blessings she is receiving in heaven.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2 at the Cottonwood Cemetery.
