PRESCOTT -- During the last 30 days, Yavapai Silent Witness has received anonymous information that has cleared 18-cases and led to the arrest of 34 people on 137 felony charges, according to Program Director "Steve Skurja.
The arrests also led to the seizure of $1,648 in cash and removed $29,535 worth of illegal drugs from Yavapai County. In addition, stolen property recovered is valued at $36,150. Those valuables included a stolen car, one Harley Davidson motorcycle and several guns.
Arrests were made by the Cottonwood police, Department of Public Safety, Camp Verde Marshal's Office, PANT and the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office. The arrests took place in Prescott, Cottonwood, Black Canyon City, Camp Verde, Cordes Junction, along I-17, Phoenix, Mayer, Prescott Valley and Hwy 69 near Cordes Junction.
The 18 successful tipsters split $6,000 in cash rewards.
