Update: Ranch House Coalition postpones meeting

The Ranch House Coalition's scheduled a special combined meeting for all groups on Saturday, Feb. 2, has been canceled and postponed to a later date due to incomplete information available for presentation to its membership in regard to future proposals for the Ranch House Restaurant and Beaver Creek Golf Course.

The agenda included an open discussion of Kala Pearson's participation in the Ranch House project with possible action. There will also be an open discussion of the future of the Ranch House Restaurant and the Beaver Creek Golf Course with possible action.

Volunteers are needed for the finance committee, CID committee and board vacancies. If you are interested in serving in one of these capacities contact BCCDC Board President Maggie Holt at 928-451-4651.

The financial slide presentation from the last meeting is available online at http://www.ranchhousecoalition.com/uploads/RANCH_HOUSE_COALITION_2012_rev.pdf

In a letter sent to RHC members this week, it stated a public meeting is being scheduled for early April to share mid and long range options for the restaurant and golf course. No mention of an option discussion regarding Kala Pearson, as was on the agenda for the canceled meeting of Feb. 2nd, nor any mention of the return of the BCVPOA funds.

Of course, the letter was a plea for the members to donate more funds to the project.

The Beaver Creek community is still awaiting the rescheduling of the Feb. 2nd meeting where "an open discussion of Kala Pearson's participation in the Ranch House project with possible action" was to take place.

In the meantime, could we at least be updated on whether the money "allegedly" stolen from the Beaver Creek Village POA that found its way into the coffers of the RHC has been returned yet to its rightful owners? If not, why not? It has been months now. If the money has been returned, Thank You.
